Goodbye Summer!

After we saw Toy Story 3 the kids came home and dug out the old cowboy costumes they haven't worn in years. The girls played tea party with their stuffed animals. I love that movie!

Imaginiff...

Last night we told the kids if they got their pajamas on real fast we could play one last game before school starts again (we've been playing, playing, playing, all Christmas break). The kids chose "Imaginiff" It's a game where everyone votes about characteristics of the other players. Majority vote wins (despite what the person being voted on may say). On my turn the question was, "Imaginiff Mom was a flying object. Which would she be?" Options included such things as "Biplane," "Frisbee," "Lear Jet," "Brick," etc. With the exception of Andrew, who sacrificed victory to vote "Glider" (bless the man), everyone else voted for "BLIMP"!



It's actually a pretty fair likeness of me right now. Perhaps I should be making some other goals this month besides "eat all the chocolate I can before I start nursing again." (Rebecca--your box of See's chocolates you sent have come in very handy to enable me to accomplish this!)

Candy Turkeys! I didn't dare eat any myself after I saw how many fingers had been dipped in the frosting, licked, and then dipped again. I hear from AJ that they were delicious--Kathleen brought 3 different kinds of candy corn.
